Mier followed. "Linderman...Walter Linderman," she whispered to herself as she reached for the pendant hanging from her neck. The monstrously tall man seems way too familiar to her, his figure from the back looked so much like someone she knew. The man her mother always told her about as a child. The tall man dressed in black, was it him? However Mier didn't speak a word, not now, the time wasn't right. She continued to follow without a word with the pain in her arm dying and growing, drying and growing.

Walter pushed a few papers off his desk, commanded Geir to sit in a seat and grabbed a kit, turning to the hall, where he saw Mier walking up the hallway. The general walked down the hall, towards her, a very foreboding and dark presence around him. His eyes were dark, dull and a very thick shade of blue.
'Sit,' he commanded her, pushing her into a seat. 'Don't disagree, do not fight, don't even make a sound.' He said. 'Show me the wound.'

Mier sat down, she had no strength left inside of her to object even a slight push. She didn't bother to hold out her arm to him. What was he going to do?. She stared at him, and finally reached out her arm to him twisting it over so the scratch was visible. It now had a dark purpulish roughness to it, almost black. "You're not helping me are you?" She asked him staring at him skeptically with one eye. She studied her facial features closely.

'No,' he said, bluntly. Opening the kit, he eyed the cut and thought for a moment. He would have to disinfect it before anything, but he did not know what sort of poison it was. His best bet was just to clean it out. Grabbing a gel from the medical kit, he applied it to the wound, knowing it would hurt, but ignored any sort of sound from Mier and smeared in the gel, which worked inside and began to kill the infection.
Walter frowned and applied pressure to the wound, so it would clean out, grabbing a scalpel he glanced at her. 'Don't panic,' he said calmly.

Mier made no sound, as if the wound had numbed, she couldn't feel the lease bit of pain coming from the disinfectant. Staring at the scalpel Walter held in his hands, she shrugged, at least attempted a shrug. "I don't care..." she said looking away, "It could be worst, as long as I don't die. Consider I owe you one for saving me."

Walter scrapped away some of the infection and placed the scalpel down, placing a new coat of disinfectant and then wrapped the wound. 'No, I just did my job, is all,' he said, closing the medical case.
The general stood, then and looked down at her. 'Stay here, your friend is acting up. Don't want your wound re-opening,' he said, heading down the hall to clean off the tools in the kit.

All of a sudden there was noise on the radio from the three snipers as they screamed something about the shadows. She watched as he left, his figure so familiar from the back. The warm feeling he gave her of being at home. Was this family? She reached into her pocket with her unwounded hand and pulled out a silver pocket watch. She flipped it open to reveal a photo of two people. On the right, a beautiful women dressed so elegantly, her mother. Beside her, was the figure of a man dressed in black, very much taller then her mother, but the face of the man had been chipped off the ripped photo. She felt stupidly as she slid the watch back into her pockets. She had left her scythe in the seat of the carriage. How stupid of her.

Walter walked back up, coughing, for her had dropped the kit off for someone else to clean. He had taken off his hat and cape and looked oddly more pleasant than the dark, foreboding character he was before. Seeing Mier there he blinked for a moment and continued on.
'Is something wrong?' he asked.

Geirs eyes returned to normal as he relaxed back into the chair. "Mr. Linderman...ive dealt with the assassins... hows Mier?..." Geir stood up and fixed his hair back and replaced his hat back on his head.

Walter raised a brow and looked to Geir. 'She's as cold and distant as ever,' he said. 'She'll be fine.' Walter walked to his office and closed the door.
'Hm, what sort of assassins were they?' he asked, sitting at his desk, looking exhausted and absolutely drained, suddenly. He seemed to be ashy pale.

Geir followed close behind. "they were Imperians...but that makes little sense doesnt it? are they not your allies in the war with the federation and the Republic?" Geir pulled out another ciggerette from his pack and offered one to Walter.

Walter took it and struck a match, lighting the cigarette. He rested the stick in his mouth and leaned back in his chair. 'As I said,' the cigarette bobbed as he talked. 'Doing research on your new enemies could mean some bad news.'
The general turned, looking out the window, the rain was going to come back soon, and worse, she made him frown and be even grumpier. 'It's all changed, severely, since the last time the nations talked everything out,' he said, darkly.
