Despite the war going on, the place had remained peaceful for some time, and that was something Walter Lindermann was thankful for. Remaining in his office and doing basic things of paper work -- he never enjoyed placing much effort into anything, he always relied on intellect. But that didn't mean he wasn't some sort of excellent fighter -- only a mere fool would assume that.
When the attack of the gunman had come upon the carriage, which was supposedly heading this way for the meeting, one of the many soldiers he had running about, came to him, reporting to him and telling him of the attack. With a frown, the general rose, placed on his cape and grabbed his sword, walking out of the building.
With a small group of soldiers, he headed down the road, ignoring the people and bits of mist the rain left. His head was low, his hat shadowing his eyes and he walked down the road, eyes upon the carriage. 'Mm,' he continued to walk, hoping to make this a quick meeting.
Walter stopped with the men, waiting for the carriage to arrive -- the gunmen had been taken care of -- such a waste, he thought, too much energy being placed into coming here.

This time, Mier rode in the carriage despite her disliking for small places. She looked out the carriage seeing a figure approaching. Knodding her head towards the figure she talked, "Is that the Frank Union General you were suppose to meet with?"

Geir looked out the window. "thats him." Geir said this plainly without any emotion and then tapped on the window behind him. "halt the convoy." Geir quickly fixed his cloaths then let his body guard open the door for him as the soldiers got into position. "well lets get this over with." Geir stepped out of the carriage and then offerd a hand to help Mier out.

Walter waited patiently, even if he was impatient. Lighting a cigarette he waited for Geir, and looked at the carriage oddly when he saw a glance at Mier. He rolled his eyes and looked to one of his guards, saying something, then watching the man run off.
'This'll be uneventful...' he mumbled.

Mier rested the scythe on the seat of the carriage and threw her trench coat over it. She adjusted her cap and her uniform to seem more solider like and stepped out of the carriage herself, lining up with the other soldiers. She examined this General of the Frank Union closely and didn't speak another word.

Geir walked over to the General and extended a hand. "I am Commander General Geir of the Valmoran Empire i presume you are Major General Walter?"

'That's Major General Lindermann, a first name basis isn't necesary,' he said, blankly. Flicking the remains of his cigarette away, he lit another one.
Tossing the match down, he inhaled the cigarette deeply, letting it rest between his teeth. He exhaled the smoke and looked down at Geir. 'Speak, I've no time for dawdling.'

Geir gave a scowl. "I'd like to talk to you about your forces located in spain." Geir withdrew his hand and grabed his own cigarettes from his pocket and pulled one out but didnt lite it. "we've noticed that they're positioned like they're going to attack us we would like an assurance that this will not happen... your war with the Federation, and the Republic, we wish to remain neutral." Geir examined the man infront of him he didnt like him he was like the rest of the Unions military.

Mier watched the two Generals expression very closely. They didn't seem to prefer each others presence very much, perhaps that is what its always like with Generals. She watched as the Frank Union General lite his cigar and stared causiously at him. The man seemed like it would be someone she knew. His movement, his attitude, it seemed so much like a man Mier once knew. She returned to looking forward like the rest of the soldiers.

'No,' Walter said, bluntly. 'Don't act so full of yourself. I have no time, nor do I have the luxury, to waste on you. If you're neutral, then don't waste your time in coming back here.'
He inhaled some smoke again and sharply exhaled. Walter eyed the man who was shorter than him. 'In case you are to get involved -- my forces are there so I don't get the after shock of your drama.'
Walter turned around, gestured for his men to follow and began walking off. The meeting was over, what had to be addressed, had been addressed.

Geir started chuckling. "as you wish...but remember you chose this route." Geir raised his hand and snaped his fingers ordering the valmorans to bring Geir his saber he didnt even bother attaching it to his belt he just drew it.

Walter kept walking, paying no mind to him. It was costly enough to even station his men someplace they weren't needed -- he had no luxury to attack such a useless place. Upon hearing Walter made a choice not to involve his country, he rolled his eyes.
'They're never happy with anything these days,' he mumbled to himself. 'They can't just leave well enough alone.'

Geir kept the sword pointed at the ground. "the gun men that attacked us were trained soldier of the Union." Geir stabbed the saber into the ground. "I would also like to remind you of the fact that Valmora has defeated your armies a total of seven times." Geirs entire personality had changed at this point. "if you refuse to remove your strike force from an attacking position in the coast of spain then that makes three offenses against my people the first being the fact that we didnt recide that extra guard we were promised as to help our convoy and the second being your soldiers attacking us."

'You sound high and mighty for a dog,' Walter said, turning around. 'Oh, joy, you defeated us a total of seven times. Doing a lack of research on your newest enemy can cause quite a downfall.'
Walter lit another cigarette. He was going to continue, but he could tell talking was a waste of time. No matter what he said, the man would counter with something or how his country was better than the one Walter served. The general rolled his eyes, he was in no mood for this, and so, in a blank tone he said, then:
'Fine. You're right. Do as you like,' then turned and started walking off again. It was no point in arguing with someone who obviously was fantastic at everything, and so was his country. The realities of war were no so black and white, but Walter never cared much, he always had no time for people like Geir.

Geir simply lifted the sword out of the ground and sheathed it and began chuckling. "your diffrent ill give you that...you have no fear on the fact that i could kill you or on the fact that your nation would have to fight three super powers..." Geir simply started claping. "youve proved me wrong about the Union...i would like to apologize for my behavior earlier it was rude of me."
